Goverdhan

Govardhan Dham is very sacred to the Hindus and they pay their visit to this place to show their respect to Radha Ji and Lord Krishna who abounds in the Govardhan Hills. According to mythology, Lord Krishna lifted the hill (Giriraj Parvat) up to protect the villagers from flood.

DAAN GHATI DARSHAN

In the ancient times Dan Ghati was the place where taxes were collected. Dan meant tax in Sanskrit.

SHRI JATIPURA MUKHARVIND DARSHAN

​Shreeji lives in Vraj at Mathura on Giriraj Govardhan. There is His Mukharvind mandir at the base of the Giriraj, the place of His Pragatya.

MANSI GANGA

According to legend, Shri Krishna used to sport with Shri Radharani and Gopis in the Yamuna, When Bhagavati Ganga beheld the great fortune of the Yamuna, her younger sister, she also became overwhelmed by a strong desire to serve the Divine Couple Shri Radha-Krishna.

KUSUM SAROVAR

​Kusuma-sarovara is on the very right of the parikrama path, about one-and-a-half miles south-west of Radha-Kunda.

SHRI GIRIRAJ JI PARIKRAMA THROUGH E-RICKSHAW/AUTO

There are two Parikramas which completes one Goverdhan Parikrama.

1. Small Parikrama of 10 Km 

2. Big Parikrama of 11 Km

Jointly it comes to 21Km.

SHRI GIRIRAJ JI PARIKRAMA THROUGH DANDAUTI/FOOT

By Rickshaw is also possible. it takes around 45 Minutes.Dandauti Parikrama is also possible it takes around 10-11 days to complete.

RADHA KUND

Radha Kund and Shyama Kund, the two most spiritually surcharged Kunds (ponds), are located in a village called Arita about 03 miles north-east of Govardhan and fourteen miles from Mathura and Vrindavan. Radha Kund is the holiest place in all of Brahma’s creation.
